Take Time To Watch The Leaves Turn

Hello again!
I'm back with a card for Fall! I think this is my most favorite time of the year...specially here in Oregon because after all you can't enjoy living here if you don't enjoy the rain!! I love the smell of the rain, the cooler temperatures Fall brings and of course the gorgeous colors of the trees and falling leaves!

I searched through all my rubba and thought this image from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps along with one of my new sentiments would be perfect!

 The stamp is called Gwendolyn which can be found in at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps HERE! I bought a bunch of Kimmie stamps awhile back and this was one of them I just had to have! So beautiful!

I was trying to make it look like falling leaves...I think I got a little carried away with the dotty background? I asked for my hubbies opinion and he was like, "don't worry, you didn't kill it"...in other words, I did...lol.

The sentiment is from my new Fall theme set just recently created and can be found HERE! I also posted some freebies the other day which coordinates with that set if you would like to snag theme HERE!

The beautiful flower is from ABespokeTouch on Etsy...she makes the most gorgeous fabric flowers and has excellent prices too! The skeleton leaves and filigree corners are from WOC!

Fall Sentiment FREEBIES!!

Hey there everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend and uneventful Monday! My boys are still being grumpy grumps in the morning...still trying to get use to waking up at 6am! Specially my littlest since this is his first year of school. He asks me why it's so dark and still sleepy time when I wake them up in the morning...lol. It's been pretty dark here in the mornings...a hint that Fall will be here in just a couple days, yay!!

Also, I want to thank everyone who took the time to comment on my last post about my pics. One of you mentioned taking the laptop to Best Buy and having the "Geek" squad look at it...I never thought of doing that, so thank you! I will definitely take it there and see if they can help me out with my pics!

~~~~~~~~~~♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥~~~~~~~~~~
And now for the FREEBIES!
Since Fall is here, I've created some new digi themed sentiments for the season!!
To download, just click on the picture preview above or you can click HERE!
 And if you would like to purchase the whole set...you can get them in my shop HERE!
A few of you mentioned that you were unable to download the files last time. I'm not sure what the problem is because I've checked all the files and they are available for download. But if you still continue to have trouble, please leave in the comment the specific trouble you might be having and I will try to help you. Also, the files are uploaded in zipped format so you will need a program like Winzip which you can download for free to extract them.
I hope you all will be able to enjoy them!
All I ask is that you give credit on whatever project you may use them on. And please do not share them or claim them as your own. You may sell handmade cards with the sentiments, but you do not have permission to sell the sentiments in their original format.
I hope to be back with some card making inspiration soon! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Sending You Happy Thoughts
Happy Weekend!
You will not believe what I did the other day...still sour over it. I was backing all my family pictures onto a removable slip drive because my computer was starting to run super slow. Well instead of checking to make sure all my files copied over correctly, I deleted the originals and continued removing the slip drive. Later in the day I checked the slip drive to use one of the pictures in a project and realized all of them were corrupted!!!! ALL of them....all my family pictures!! I was so upset with myself...still kinda am. What I mean by corrupted is all of them look like they have been eaten and are half grayed out. I even tried downloading file recovery software to see if I could get the files back from the recycle bin. It worked to an extent...the pics would only come up as thumbnails and were also showing corrupted when I clicked on them. I've been trying to make myself feel better by telling myself at least it was only the pics from this year. But geeze...I have taken tons of pics this year! So anyways, that's what kind of a week I have had and if anyone know hows to fix my corrupted files I would appreciate any ideas!
So rant over...lol. I have a new card to share today, yay! I used the sketch from the Sugar Bowl Challenge and the color theme from ColourQ.
Side View...
This super cute image is one of my Sugar Nellie stamps from the Fairy Glen collection. The mushroom was supposed to be burgundy...but looks like it turned out a little more red. And the cute little Freddie frog got lost in the dark coloring there...lol.
I had too much fun playing with my MFT butterfly dies...lol. Don't you just love that adorable little mushroom charm?! I've had these charms forever and finally found the perfect project to use them on!
Thank You
Afternoon!
Can you believe it's only the 5th day of school for my kiddos and already 2 of them are sick! My 8 year old developed an ear infection over the weekend which turned into a full blown cold...poor little dude. And now my littlest is sick too, which is no fun. I kept them home from school today...hopefully they won't miss too much since it's only the beginning of the year.
Anyways, I have a sweet magnolia card to share with you all today! I used the super fabulous sketch from CLP Challenge.
For my card I've used one of my magnolias "Tilda With Rose"...
Some more detailed views...the flowers gem stem are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I made the glass pebble myself out of the paper scraps used on this card. I just love making them!
Doing the "Back To School" Hussle!
Hey there everyone....I know, I know...where have I been?? I've been busy as always and I had a super crazy August which was followed by doing the "Back To School" hussle with shopping for new clothes, school supplies, registering, etc...ALL the moms out there know what I'm talking about!
Plus my littlest started school for the first time...kindergarten! He was super excited and was actually looking forward to it all year! The first day was harder on me than it was him for sure...he wanted me to leave...lol! But by the time he got home that day, I could tell he really missed me. He only goes half day like 2 1/2 hours and when he came home he told me that he really missed me and had a very long day. Then he crashed right out! But so far he really loves going! The only thing that is hard on him right now is getting him to go to sleep when he is suppose to. Hopefully that will change as the he gets used to it.
Here he is on his first day! He's such a cutie pants!!
 And him in his classroom...
And here are my other little munchkins...well not so little anymore! My oldest in the middle started the 5th grade can you believe it!! And the other one started 4th grade!
As for me, I usually try not to get too personal on here, but my August was super busy because I was actually looking for work for the first time in almost 5 years...yikes!!! I started by re-vamping my resume...took me ages as I hadn't made one in over 15 years!! wow! Anywhooo...hubs hours got cut way back, so I was trying to help him out a little.
We got the best surprise ever though a few days ago when hubs came home and told me he got his raise approved! His company was on a pay freeze for over 5 years...he got a whole $1.50 an hour bump, woohooo! Probably not exciting to some but it sure will help for us. Hubs really didn't want me to have to work again. Plus the kiddos weren't happy about it either. Who knows though...I still might try to find something part time. Although I really enjoy staying home with the kiddos and having free time to craft, I miss being part of the working world too!
Besides all that craziness, I've been trying to get back to making my Etsy shop one of my priorities again. I'm planning on moving all my beaded items to a my new shop HERE while keeping all my cards organized in my main shop HERE. Part of my OCD nature and needing to keep it all organized...we'll see how it goes...lol.
Here are some new dangles I've made to add to the new shop...I plan to use them and feature them in my card making. Let me know what you think? :)
I have many more in different style and colors that I've added to the new shop if you would like to check them out! :)
I plan on working on some new sentiments soon...so for those of you who come here for the sentiments...watch out for those soon! And for those that come here for my cards...I will definitely have one to share with you soon! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'm truly grateful to all my awesome followers who are patient and continue to stick with me and follow me! I will try to stop by all your blogs very soon...I so miss blog hopping and looking at all the wonderful creations out there in blogland!
Till next time
HAPPY CRAFTING ALL!
